Good lord! What do I write about this week?

Who’s on first? I’m not sure who is actually being interviewed.

Where do I begin? The whack-a-doodle Jordan Peterson/Elon Musk interview? Biden’s succession, the anointing of Kamala Harris and desperate groundswell of support as a collective sigh of relief from a nation confused and browbeaten? The paltry state of the arts and humanities in our country made plain in stark contrast to the resplendent French government’s display of spectacle in their Olympic opening ceremony? 

YES!

Let it not be said of The Archetype that we lack ambition.

Rather, we demonstrate a complete disregard for personal boundaries. Or narrative structure. Or parental guidance.

I will address the state of the arts in America another day. But for now . . .
